Prior to starting Andrea’s sleep course in January I had not had good sleep for almost 18 months. My sleep had been broken every night, waking every couple of hours and then being unable to get back to sleep. I was sleep deprived and not functioning properly during the day. Family, social and work life was suffering. I began to dread going to bed as I expected not to get to sleep. I signed up to the menopause course online and went straight to the sleep section. This made me think about sleep differently and gave a sleep strategy that I put in place. It was hard, but within just a few weeks I was getting 6 hour’s restful sleep every night. I am now no longer sleep deprived and life has become fun again as I am functioning so much better. The rest of the course deals with other aspects of the menopause including anxiety, mindfulness, diet and exercise. It has saved me from going onto HRT, which I was considering, although I realise this was also my own personal choice. I can highly recommend Andrea’s  coaching to anyone going through tough times with menopause & sleep. She offers one-to-one coaching sessions, weekly group chats, blogs, Facebook posts and answers questions on email. She is very supportive and knowledgeable and I am so very grateful for all her help and advice.

I can’t recommend Andrea and her coaching highly enough! I have done her sleep programme which was unbelievable.
I suffer from Fibromyalgia and they say that this condition is possibly brought on by lack of sleep amongst other things. I’ve always been a light sleeper since the birth of my son , but since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia my sleep problems skyrocketed, sometimes not even getting any sleep at all, culminating in terrible brain fog along with many other ailments.
However, I discovered Andrea and her course and I haven’t looked back since.
I did the course from the very beginning, doing the sleep diary onwards . It was tough to implement at first but it was well worth sticking with and Andrea is a wonderful support, very supportive and calming. I now sleep 8 hours almost every night and can’t thank Andrea enough😀
My brain fog has improved no end and so has a lot of my fibromyalgia pain.
I am so very very glad I did this course.

I started her course and stuck to the plan. I started sleeping without any medications.after two wks, I do have the odd night! Although I sleep the next night.  Having suffered from chronic Insomnia for over 10 years I have tried all the different things to help me sleep  -  sleep hygiene,  sleep supplements,  sleep station via the NHS  and eventually being given sleeping tablets by my doctor.  Unfortunately only the sleeping tablets worked but I hated having to take them. 

Then in February, I saw Andrea's post on fb and  I contacted her.  From the minute she started talking to me I felt confident that this was somebody who really understood my problem and, more importantly, might be able to help.  I decided to start her programme and this is one of the best decisions I have ever made.  We talked through how insomnia affected my life, and it became very apparent that Andrea had experienced exactly the same, so we were on the same wavelength from the very beginning. 

After recording my sleep (or lack of it) patterns for a week, I sent the information to Andrea.  We then had another zoom session where she explained how she could help me.  At one point she mentioned that her course did include something akin to Sleep Station (which as stated above I had used before without success).  Although this made me slightly nervous I decided to carry on, and it soon became obvious to me that Andrea's approach was so much more personal to me.  I wasn't just another 'number' being contacted through impersonal messaging, but it was on a 1:1 , face to face basis. 

Andrea and I have had weekly zoom calls, where we discuss how things have been for me, sleep efficiency, negative/positive thoughts, daytime light,  naps, relaxation and much much more. 

I've just had my last zoom call with Andrea as sleep no longer fills my mind.  I think she said that I'm now a Carefree Sleeper.  You have no idea how that makes me feel!!!  However, if or when, I do have a blip I can contact Andrea via WhatsApp, and can also book another zoom call should I need additional reassurance.

So if anybody is considering contacting Andrea Wood, I would say don't hesitate.  I didn't and I no longer think about sleep, it just happens.  Thank you Andrea, keep doing what you do.’

During the course I love your calm, relaxed, reassuring manner. Everything you said made perfect sense.

Knowing you have been through this and you are sharing the knowledge you have learnt along the way was really reassuring.You are clearly an expert in sleep during the menopause. I picked up so much information I didn't know along the way, some information I did know, but your clear explanations helped me with a better understanding of it. I really like the way the course is set up now where you can dip into any part of it and also revisit it as often as you like. I know I will be revisiting it alot in the future! 

I really enjoyed the course, found it very informative and loved your calm and reassuring manner. I have recommended it to several friends.

The course is definitely something I will refer to in the future. Everyone is on their own personal journey through this and I will know where to come when I need more detailed help.

Alongside horrible menopause symptoms, I hadn’t been sleeping properly for about 18 months and it was affecting all areas of my life …I then came across Andrea’s course, joined a video overview and immediately signed up to do the course. Following this I had a 1:1 video call with Andrea. She gave me some amazing insights, lots of tips and the difference it has made to my sleep is incredible!!

Hi Andrea,One year ago today we had our first conversation about sleep, menopause and the various related issues. I was at my wit’s end at this time, having had very little sleep for over 18 months, feeling desperate to feel ‘normal’ and be able to cope with life without crying, and was starting the process of talking to a GP about HRT, which I really did not want to go on. You gave me very calming,  sensible advice and I started your sleep programme. The first few weeks were difficult, but soon I was sleeping for longer and getting better quality sleep – and what a difference a good night’s sleep makes to everything! I am now a fully functioning person and it is all down to you and your course, and your sensible approach to things. I just wanted to say how very grateful I am that we spoke one year ago and would like to say to anyone on your course just now, or thinking about it – it really does work.

After 14 years of progressively escalating meno insomnia, I came across this course and decided to give it a go. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but I thought that as I have literally tried everything else, I might as well try this as well. My scepticism was unfounded - within a couple of weeks, my sleep pattern was changing, a month on and it was very noticeably better, and two months on and I was sleeping pretty much normally again. There are no gimmicks and no 'products' - it's a tried & tested way of working WITH your body to bring about a real and lasting change. Plus there is plenty of support and encouragement in the form of regular zoom calls. I am so very glad that I tried it as I feel that I've got my life back. Thank you, Andrea!

I have spent 4 months with Andrea coaching me to establish a sleeping pattern which allows me to live without fear of not sleeping and needing medication. After 18 years of meds to help me sleep, I found myself having to wean off them and as a result my brain had forgotten how to sleep naturally.

I was unable to function, every aspect of life was impacted.

In complete despair, I contacted Andrea and, after some hesitation due to cost and skepticism, I took the leap.

It was the best thing I did. The first 3 weeks were awful, but Andrea was there whenever I needed her to encourage me to stick with it. I did and slowly saw improvements. My brain was reprogrammed, I started to feel sleepy again and the sleep anxiety gradually faded. I am now sleeping 7 hours, a few wakenings, but drug free.

If I have a few bad nights I have the tools to get on track and I know it is temporary. Andrea is genuine, easy to talk to and cares. Thank you Andrea, I am so glad I found you, you helped me kick the insomnia to the kerb xx

After many, many years of poor sleep with all its accompanying problems, after meeting and working with Andrea, I am now able to get the sleep and rest I need. The road is not an easy one, but Andrea is very supportive and helpful, especially when you reach a rocky bit of that road. Working with Andrea has been a huge help.  I’ve  developed many good strategies through Andrea’s coaching now.  I had been coping - not very well - in fact really badly - with insomnia for many years and after three months of help I am now doing much better.  Andrea always helps with any issue and has become a good friend over the last few months.  I am still a “work in progress” but now feel so much more in control and don’t have the massive fear of going to bed to lay there and not sleep.  In fact I look forward to bedtime and certainly wake up feeling a whole lot better than before I enrolled in Andrea’s programme.

I have just completed the course with Andrea and am absolutely delighted with the results. I haven’t slept well for years and finally decided to try and do something about it - being awake at 3 and 4am was making me so miserable. Andrea’s support and advice were fantastic.
